Lexi is a 30-year-old mom from Lake Mills, Wisconsin, raising two beautiful daughters. She was diagnosed with Usher Syndrome (progressive hearing and vision loss), polycystic kidney disease (PKD), and is also deaf (both of her daughters are deaf, too).

Lexi has some exciting news! She finally got the call that her and her daughters been waiting for and are feeling extremely blessed and overwhelmed with all the emotions. She will be having her kidney transplant on Thursday, September 17 at 7:30 am. She will be having a lot of appointments between now and then to prepare her body for a new, and very friendly kidney! She is asking for prayers, that her body accept this new kidney, with little to no drama! She prays that her body heals quickly and she can return safely home to her girls, after surgery.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey. Sharing Facebook posts, and sharing herstory. There were 2,000 people that filled out paperwork to be a kidney donor!! That is simply amazing. So many people need a kidney transplant 💗
